Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is a major pharmaceutical company that develops and sells drugs covering areas of immunology, oncology, ophthalmology, and rare diseases. During the COVID-19 outbreak it developed a widely used monoclonal antibody treatment. Other flagship products include Eylea, an injection to treat age-related macular degeneration and other eye conditions; Dupixent, a therapy for inflammatory diseases like atopic dermatitis, asthma, and chronic rhinosinusitis; and Libtayo, for certain types of cancer. The company was incorporated in 1988.

Regeneron studies the root causes of a broad range of diseases and identifies new therapies, including for rare and ultra-rare conditions, at its genetics center. Its research includes fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP), a disabling disease that transforms soft tissue into bone, for which its treatment Pasatru received FDA approval in August 2026. Regeneron is also investigating treatments for lipodystrophy, a rare metabolic disorder. The company developed Inmazeb, an Ebola treatment provided at no cost to outbreak-affected countries since 2018, and donated 500 doses to the World Health Organization in response to the 2025 outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
