"What makes this a great place to work is the supportive and collaborative culture. People are always willing to share context, walk through past decisions, and help each other learn, which makes onboarding and growth much smoother. I also really value the trust and ownership given to employees and the encouragement and resources provided to take initiative, improve processes, and turn learnings into reusable resources that will help the broader team. Lastly, there's a strong focus on continuous learning, where asking questions and learning from experience is genuinely supported."

"The bedrock belief that long-term value and success comes from hiring and valuing smart people and empowering them to do what they think is best for the company seems pretty rare. We have a culture of trust and transparency that the senior leadership team models for us continually. Anyone in the company can and does recognize others for their contributions in a company-wide Slack channel and I think that is more genuine than a lot of the recognition that other companies have on a cadence coming down from management. Even though we are predominantly remote, I think everyone communicates and collaborates respectfully with one another to keep up that culture of trust."
Employees say:
"You are empowered to make decisions and not penalized for genuine mistakes. People are always willing to help and there is a level of knowledge share and transparency that I've never seen anywhere else. There is also a radical focus on balance and client satisfaction that is refreshing."

"There is a lot of trust and encouragement to try new things in this company. Lumin has an environment that encourages individuals to contribute their best ideas and creates an environment that allows free collaboration between employees that I have not seen in other companies that I have worked at. Lumin also has a level of transparency that I have not seen which encourages an environment of trust and a flat organization which allows me to feel like an important part of the company and not just a replaceable cog in the machine."

"I have never worked for a company that is as open and honest with their employees as Lumin is. I had a friend that was employed here and she told me about how great the company was and she couldn't have been more correct!! Amazing company with amazing employees, so glad I have the opportunity to work for a company that walks the walk."

"I think something unique about Lumin is the level of transparency the executive team provides to the organization. There is a monthly all-staff meeting where the executive team provides updates to the organization on various topics including financial, sales, culture, market, and other areas. As an employee, these types of meetings help me feel very connected to the overall process driving the organization and how I contribute to it."
