Duangdao Wongpanitkrit has spent 18 years at Krungsri, Thailand's fifth-largest financial group, 13 of them as CFO before becoming its first chief finance and strategy officer in January. A certified public accountant, she now co-develops group strategy, and serves as an executive officer of parent MUFG. Krungsri reported a 6.8% year-on-year increase in net profit to THB16.9 billion in the first half of 2026, supported by growth in its corporate and ASEAN portfolios, higher net fee and service income, and effective management of funding costs and operating expenses.
