Chemicals
- Dow (No. 103) appointed Karen S. Carter CEO, effective July 1. Carter currently serves as COO of the company and will succeed Jim Fitterling, who will transition to Executive Chair of the company’s board. Carter will also join the board. Financials
- Marsh & McLennan (No. 175) announced that CFO Mark McGivney has taken on the additional roles of EVP and COO. McGivney has been with the company since 2007.
- Corebridge Financial (No. 224) appointed Christopher Filiaggi interim CFO, effective April 24, upon the resignation of Elias Habayeb. Filiaggi has served as Chief Accounting Officer of the company since June 2023; prior to joining Corebridge, he held roles at AIG (No. 157). The company also announced that Robin M. Raju, CFO of Equitable Holdings (No. 338), will become CFO of the combined company when the merger of Corebridge and Equitable Holdings is complete.
Food, beverages, and tobacco
- Coca-Cola (No. 97) appointed Tapaswee Chandele Global Chief People Officer, effective May 1. Chandele has been with the company since 2001 and currently serves as SVP and Executive Assistant to President and CFO John Murphy. She succeeds Lisa Chang, who announced that she is stepping down from the role in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday. Chang will remain with Coca-Cola through the end of 2026 as a senior advisor, and she will serve on the board of The Coca-Cola Foundation.
- Conagra Brands (No. 350) appointed John Brase CEO, effective June 1. Brase most recently served as President and COO of J.M. Smucker (No. 466) and was at Procter & Gamble (No. 51) for 30 years before that. He succeeds Sean Connolly, who is stepping down after 11 years as CEO of the company.
Transportation
- FedEx (No. 49) announced that John W. Dietrich will step down as CFO on June 1. Dietrich oversaw the spinoff of FedEx Freight during his tenure, and he will remain with the company until July 31. Claude Russ, the company’s EVP, Finance and a 24-year veteran of the company, will become interim CFO.
- Southwest Airlines (No. 156) appointed Sabrina Callahan to the new role of Chief Digital and Marketing Officer. Callahan most recently served as VP, Head of Digital at AT&T (No. 37).
