We also include CIOs (Chief Information Officers), CHROs (Chief Human Resources Officers), CMOs (Chief Marketing Officers), and Chief Customer Officers when there are Power Moves within the Fortune 500 announced pertaining to those roles.

Aerospace and defense
- General Dynamics (No. 91) appointed Danny Deep CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Deep has been with the company for 25 years and currently serves as President. He will succeed Phebe Novakovic, who has served as CEO since 2013 and will transition to Executive Chairman.
Energy
- Chevron (No. 21) appointed Jeff B. Gustavson CFO, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Gustavson has been with the company for 27 years and currently serves as President, New Energies. He will succeed Eimear Bonner, who will become President, Oil, Products and Gas.
Health care
- Stryker (No. 181) appointed Spencer S. Stiles CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Stiles has been with the company for 27 years and currently serves as President and COO. He will succeed Kevin A. Lobo, who will exit the role on Dec. 31 after leading the company since 2012 and transition to Executive Chair.
- Boston Scientific (No. 222) appointed Joseph M. Fitzgerald EVP and COO, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Fitzgerald currently serves as EVP and Group President, Cardiovascular of the company. The company has not had a COO in over a decade.
Retailing
- Lithia Motors (No. 123) promoted Katie Macaddino to Chief People Officer. Macaddino previously served as SVP, People and Culture, and earlier spent 15 years at Intel (No. 88). Gary Glandon was most recently in the Chief People Officer role but retired as of Dec. 31, 2025.
- AutoNation (No. 166) appointed Ravi Simhambhatla Chief Technology and AI Officer. Simhambhatla most recently served as EVP and Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at Avis Budget Group (No. 380). He previously held technology leadership roles at Google (Alphabet (No. 5)), Tesla (No. 43), and United Airlines Holdings (No. 81).
