Titles included in this roundup: CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), CFOs (Chief Financial Officers), CMOs (Chief Marketing Officers), and CHROs (Chief Human Resources Officers). We also include COOs (Chief Operating Officers), CTOs (Chief Technology Officers), CIOs (Chief Information Officers), Chief People Officers, and Chief Customer Officers when there are Power Moves within the Fortune 500 announced pertaining to those roles.

Energy

  • HF Sinclair (No. 150) announced the termination of CFO Atanas Atanasov, who had been on leave since February after the company’s audit committee raised concerns. CEO Timothy Go also departed the company under a separation agreement. Franklin Myers, chair of the company’s board, will continue to serve as interim CFO; Chief Accounting Officer Vivek Garg will continue serving as acting CFO.

Food, beverages, and tobacco

  • Philip Morris International (No. 121) appointed Massimo Andolina CFO, effective Aug. 1. Andolina has been with the company for 18 years and currently serves as President, Europe Region. He succeeds Emmanuel Babeau, who is staying with the company through March 2027 as a Strategic Advisor. 

Health care

  • Amgen (No. 134) announced that Peter Griffith is retiring as CFO. Thomas Dittrich will succeed Griffith as CFO on Sept. 1. Dittrich previously spent eight years at the company, from April 2006 to August 2014, during which time he ultimately served as Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. He currently serves as CFO of Galderma.

Technology

  • Jacobs Solutions (No. 245) appointed Cheryl Lim CHRO. Lim most recently served as CHRO and Section 16 Officer at Vertiv Holdings (No. 471).
  • DoorDash (No. 394) appointed Tim Castree CMO. Castree previously served as VP EU Prime & Marketing and VP Global Media at Amazon (No. 2) and succeeds Kofi Amoo-Gottfried, who is leaving the company to spend more time with his family.
