Titles included in this roundup: CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), CFOs (Chief Financial Officers), COOs (Chief Operating Officers), CTOs (Chief Technology Officers), and CMOs (Chief Marketing Officers). We also include Chief Information Officers (CIOs), CHROs (Chief Human Resources Officers), Chief People Officers, and Chief Customer Officers when there are Power Moves within the Fortune 500 announced pertaining to those roles.

Energy
- Marathon Petroleum (No. 29) appointed Maria A. Khoury EVP and CFO, effective Jan. 19. Khoury currently serves as VP, Group CFO Biotechnology for Danaher (No. 180) and will succeed John J. Quaid, who will stay with the company for a transition period.
Food, beverages, and tobacco
- Performance Food Group (No. 80) appointed Scott McPherson CEO, effective Jan. 1, after a year in the company’s COO role. He will succeed George Holm, who will transition to Executive Chair.
- Kraft Heinz (No. 166) appointed Steve Cahillane CEO, effective Jan. 1. Cahillane most recently served as CEO of Kellanova (No. 332) before its acquisition by Mars. Cahillane will succeed Carlos Abrams-Rivera, who will serve as an advisor to the company until March 6.
Technology
- Intel (No. 86) appointed Annie Shea Weckesser SVP and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. Weckesser previously served as CMO of SambaNova, which Intel is currently in talks to acquire. She succeeds Cory Pforzheimer, who has served as interim Chief Communications Officer since Jeff Dahncke left the company this past fall to become Chief Communications Officer at Equinix (No. 446). Pforzheimer will return to the role of VP of Communications. The company also appointed Pushkar Ranade as interim CTO following the departure of Sachin Katti, who stepped down as CTO of the company in November to join OpenAI. Ranade currently serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO.
- Leidos Holdings (No. 250) appointed Theodore “Ted” Tanner Jr. as CTO, effective Jan. 5. Tanner most recently served as Chief Technology and Strategy Officer at BigBear.ai and succeeds Jim Carlini, who will remain with the company as a senior advisor on national security matters.
- Booz Allen Hamilton Holding (No. 398) announced that Matthew A. Calderone is resigning as CFO, effective Feb. 1, and pursuing an opportunity outside the company. Kristine Martin Anderson, EVP and COO of the company, will assume Calderone’s duties until the company finds a successor.
Transportation
- GXO Logistics (No. 363) appointed Bart Beeks to the newly created role of COO, effective Jan. 2. Beeks most recently served as COO of CEVA Logistics.
