Tom Brady is ready to poke fun at “Deflategate” now that his four game suspension is over.
In a new commercial for Footlocker’s (FL) “Week of Greatness,” Brady overhears two shoppers questioning how the shoe retailer’s annual Thanksgiving sale can “keep getting better after all these years.” Frustrated by what the two men are saying, Brady jumps in to their conversation:
“That’s an unfortunate mindset you’ve got there,” Brady says. “Just because something is great year after year, doesn’t mean anything is going on. Why can’t some things just be great?”
He continues: “It starts with questions, then questions turn into assumptions, and then assumptions turn into vacations. So why would you punish the Week of Greatness for something that never even happened?”

Brady, a quarterback for the New England Patriots, served a four-game suspension earlier this season after an NFL investigation concluded the team intentionally under-inflated the footballs that were used in the AFC Championship game in 2015.
