Twitter sensation “Damn Daniel” is now doing commercials.
The viral star, a kid named Daniel lauded for his white Vans, is now featured in an ad for the new LG V20 smartphone. The original “Damn Daniel” video was posted to Twitter by Joshua Holz, who also appears in the commercial. It consisted of various Snapchat videos strung together, showing Daniel in different outfits while Holz calls out “Damn, Daniel” in the background. It racked up 14 million views.

According to Digital Trends, this is just the first in a series of LG commercials that will essentially be recreations of popular YouTube videos, filmed using the new smartphone.
The V20 includes a 16 megapixel main lens, an 8 megapixel wide angle lens, and high-performance microphones that are supposedly able to capture high quality audio in loud areas. It’s also the only phone that comes ready with Google’s newest Android operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat.
